Is It Wrong...

That there are certain recycling items I hate cleaning out? When faced with having to wash out one of these plastic items, it's like I have that cliched image of the devil on one shoulder, an angel on the other. The devilish side whispers for me just to throw out the peanut butter tub. Ditto with the mayonnaise and the salad dressing containers. But the angelic side whispers about saving the planet and protecting the environment.

In the end, the angel always wins. But I can't say I'm too happy about it.

I know what you mean..washing items that will go into the garbage just doesn't seem right.

Have a good day.

I'm with you, Dru! I actually have to soak the peanut butter tub overnight... Yuck.

The devil wins out with me. Peanut butter containers and the like go in the trash unwashed.

We don't even have recycling here in my town, which drives me crazy.
We don't have to get our cars smogged either. Maybe not enough people????? Maybe they just don't care???? Either way, it makes me
wanna smack somebody. lol

I'm from California originally,
and being the typical bleeding heart,
I wish that part was different.

Except maybe for that peanut butter. I'd have to give that a second thought too..LOL
Keep listening to that angel!!

HAPPY 4th!
:0)

I just posted my stuff for the 4th on my blog, (I highlighted Pookie today. He'll be mortified! LOL)and noticed that you were able comment ok. Great.

And, Ogden??? You're kidding!
Tis a small world indeed.

I'm a transplant from California and then Colorado, ending up in Utah. My mother's whole family is from the SLC area. They go way way back. I'm the black sheep of the family..lol

Have you hiked any of the Nat'l Parks here? Zion, Arches, etc?

Recycling is a Democrat myth. Don't believe the lies!

Gayle, it is a small world! I haven't been to Utah (except a layover at the airport) since I was 2, but I do hope to get back there sometime.

And I can't imagine not being able to recycle--oh the guilt I'd feel! LOL.

LOL, Theo.
